Thank you for your interest in having me photograph your wedding. I am so thrilled that people are interested in my art and choose me to photograph one of the most important days of their lives.
I’m artistic, free spirited and a traveller. I have travelled to over 16 countries including traveling China and southeast Asia for two years. I love to know people and places. I love to hear people's stories, where they have come from and why they are here. When I shoot your wedding, I want to tell your story. I have never met a person who doesn't have a story worth hearing, worth feeling, worth telling. You are not just another couple getting married at a venue that has seen thousands of people get married before you. You are the culmination of the experiences and of generations of parents and grandparents and you have been preparing for this your whole lives.
A few more things about me... I love the beach, the mountains, my boyfriend Jose (frequently appearing in photos on my social media as my muse), my Chinese bunny Tina who brought back to Canada with me (thats a whole other story), our new French Bulldog puppy - Winnie, birthdays, Mini-Eggs and sweatpants. I also run a non-profit organization that is the only supporter of an orphanage and village in India. (If you want to hear more about this, check it out our Facebook page @TheKhedapadaProject or send me an email). On the weekends, when I am not photographing a wedding, you can find us driving, hiking and discovering new places or working on our 170 year old home. I am also very close with my family and Jose’s family.
What to expect when you book your wedding with me
You probably don't have a ton of experience having a wedding and I have been to a few. I will help you with whatever you need: colours, timelines, etc. I can help you write out a timeline that will make the most of your day and show you when the best time to plan for photos are.
Being a photographer is so much more than showing up with my camera on a wedding day. I will be fully accessible to you throughout your planning. You can email, call or text with whatever questions you have.
Through years of education, an undying passion for photography and 50+ weddings, I couldn't be happier producing art for clients. Not only will you be able remember the day as it unfolded, you will have beautiful photographs to remember your day and to pass on to your children and great grandchildren.
I take pride in my creativity and I love to create the art you will keep for the rest of your lives.
You also likely don't hire a photographer often. My goal is to make you feel comfortable and natural. Everyone tells me they are awkward (I am the master of camera awkward). Rest assured, things will not be too posed. During getting ready, the ceremony and reception, I will mostly be taking photos of what is happening around me. I may occasionally have you look at me, but for the most part, you should just enjoy the day.
During couple's photos, posing is minimal and it is meant to feel more like captured moments than poses.
